Hello Everybody! My name is Patrick, and I am new to the industry. I received my VO training, as well as professionally produced demos in Commercials and Narrations back in the summer of 2014, and since then I've just been trying to find the best ways to connect with people.
This is my first VO Conference, and I am hoping that I will be able to make some real connections with people in the community and start getting work that will pay off and show that I have the talent and skills to be in this field, as well as be a source of help and guidance to people in what I have learned and grown to know thus far.
My interests strongly lie in the Audiobook sector, and I am currently taking courses with Pat Fraley to begin my process with that. In case any of you are thinking of forwarding me to look into ACX - I know all about it and have a profile. I will be taking the X-session course with Scott Brick at VO Atlanta 2016 on Saturday evening, March 5th, and I am very much looking forward to that and meeting him and other Audiobook narrators.
Again, I just would love to meet people, help them in any way I can, and get work and start doing this full-time. It's my hope this conference can help me do that!
